Red Covenant

🌑 Setting & Theme

  • Red Covenant is set in a dark, fantasy world called the Avarik Saga Universe. The world is steeped in blood magic, witchcraft, and occult lore.

  • Unlike traditional “pure-good hero” stories, it leans heavily into anti-hero narratives. Characters often have morally ambiguous backgrounds — sins, regrets, painful pasts — which gives the story more depth and maturity.

🎮 Gameplay & Mechanics

  • The game is a mobile strategy RPG. Its combat is mana-based, meaning players must plan tactics carefully, combining each character’s unique abilities — many of which are tied to their past “sins” or magical traits.

  • One distinctive element: the relationship between the player (the “Bondkeeper”) and the characters (called “Forsaken”). In lore, a ritual binds Bondkeeper and Forsaken by blood, forging a covenant that powers gameplay and story.

  • The game also aims to blend traditional gaming (Web2) with blockchain/Web3: players can own in-game assets via NFTs and tokens, giving them true ownership over characters or items, which can influence both gameplay and economy.

💬 Character Interaction & Story Depth

  • A standout feature: you can interact with your characters more personally thanks to AI-powered dialogues (via LLM / “chat with characters” functionality). This lets you build deeper bonds with your Forsaken, potentially unlocking unique stories, character development, and secrets.

  • Because characters are anti-heroes with complex pasts, choices and interactions often carry moral weight. The narrative isn’t strictly black-and-white good vs evil — your actions and decisions can impact the story, relationships, and perhaps character fates.

🔗 Blockchain & Web3 Integration

  • The game integrates blockchain-based assets: players can recruit characters using NFTs (called “Agent NFTs” / “Veils NFTs”), which can give exclusive skins, stat boosts, special affinities — affecting both appearance and gameplay.

  • Because of this integration, your characters or assets can have real-world value (depending on how the in-game economy develops), and the game is positioned as part of a broader Web3 gaming ecosystem.
